ooc: -smirks- This'll only be a short post, mainly 'cause I'm about to fall asleep... ~.~ Oh, and Char actually does like here. To me, right now, this is like SA. Kei likes Hikari, but Hikari is too thick-headed to notice. Also, Hikari doesn't realize he feelings 'til it's almost too late...

The Colonel grunted as the teenage girl's weight fell on him. This was to be expected from him yanking the leash, but the girl was a bit heavier than when he had carried her from the burning Elric house to the Rockbell house. Char sighed and stared at Cheryl's face, a small, very small, blush coming to his face as well. The man leaned up, hoping to get up off the floor. However, this soon changed when he realized that, once he leaned up, he accidentally kissed the younger girl. This made him slightly blush a bit more, but he held back most of it.

ooc: Note; he doesn't lean back down. :3

Cheryl's eyes widened as Char's lips met her's. She couldn't move. It was like she was just.... Frozen there. Her heartbeat started to pick up, a faint thrumming in her chest. Like the flutter of a trapped bird's wings.

Was this really happening?! A small shudder crept down her spine. She couldn't take her gaze from the Colonel's, despite how badly she wanted to run away and hide. Her cheeks darkened, her face bright red by now. Yep. Happy Birthday, Cheryl.

The Colonel paused for a moment, staring into Cheryl's eyes. He enjoyed this (figures), but he could already tell that the girl didn't. Char Mustang leaned back, pulling his lips away from Cheryl's, and rest his head on the floor once more. "Gomen..." The Colonel muttered, staring off into space.

"Uh..." Cheryl lifted herself off of the Colonel, sitting a foot or two away. She couldn't stop blushing. "Er, sorry?" she muttered, hiding her eyes. She looked down at the ground, trying to forget how his lips had felt against her's. She blushed even deeper.

Then she admitted to herself, only a little bit, that it hadn't been as bad as she'd thought it might be. What?! Was she actually admitting that she liked what just happened? She wanted to hit herself repeatedly.

ooc: We've been on this thread for a month... It's past her birthday, so let's just say that they went through the whole awkwardness and skip to a week or so after that in a different thread... They need to get out of Central, and I have a mission for them!
