It's been... How long? [TORA, GET YER BUTT OVER HURR! D8<]

Man... Time has flown by, hasn't it? Days turned into weeks, weeks into months... How long as it been exactly? How long as it been since Tora had taken him in?

Sun filtered in through the blinds, stream down in rays on to the floor and bed. As a ray of sunlight rested on the pale face of a seemingly-adolecent (well, he hasn't hit puberty yet...), the face scrunched up, trying to fight off the sunlight's call to wake up. He didn't want to wake up yet! He was having the best dream... The dream about the large fish that just willingly allowed him to eat it. Ah, he loved the fish dreams...

The blond groaned, blinking open his eyes. What time was it? No, not summer time... It was still winter. Wait, winter? That means it had been... No, no. He wasn't going to dwell on the questions that had swam in his mind late last night.

Nai yawned, bearing the fangs that came with the 'curse of the Chimera', as he lifted his hands above his head, stretching like the kitten he was. Cerulean eyes fluttered open, narrowing as they tried to adjust to the bright light of winter morning. The little Chimera alchemist turned on the bed, nuzzling his head into the warm body resting beside him, actually purring from the warmth.

ooc: slight powerplay, but I doubt that Tora would be up early in the morning. :3

All that the older alchemist got in reply was another purr and the boy nuzzling deeper into the warmth as his eyes closed once more. He was so glad to be out of the cold, and the warm body was a plus! Nai took a deep breath in, breathing in Tora's scent. Normally his sensitive nose hated human scents since most of them were worse than a skunk, but the man's scent was... Special, you could say. Tolerable, calming... Heck, he could even call it sweet! Especially after Tora finished cooking... Ah, food...

All gluttonous thoughts aside, the Chimera ceased his purring, opening one eye to show their cerulean glory (I don't know... just go with it) to look up at the older alchemist. "Food..." Okay, maybe all the gluttonous thoughts weren't put aside... But you can't keep a growing boy from his food, dammit! Ahem, pardon my French.

His face slightly scrunched up in a quite adorable pout as he sat up as well. "No, you just don't feed me enough!" Right, because just about five meals a day isn't enough. For such a small boy, he was a bottomless pit! Well, boys do eat a lot...

Nai yawned once more, flashing his pearly white fangs once more as he lifted a hand up to cover his mouth. He wanted to go back to sleep, but his stomach forced him to stay awake. At the question, the feline Chimera replied--more like cheered--with his usual answer: "Fish!" He stared up at Tora with hopeful eyes, his tail swaying back and forth on the bed as his ears perked forward.

Yay, he was getting fish! Perfect way to start off the morning in his perspective! Nai watched as the man got off the bed and went to the door. The feline Chimera scooted over to the edge of the bed, peering down at the flooring. It was cold down there! He locked his gaze back on the older human once more, reaching out with both arms like a little child wanting to be picked up. Seriously, how childish (and adorable!) could this boy get?

The boy was both delighted and relieved when the man picked him up. He was delighted because he wouldn't have to walk, and he was relieved because the man was still warm. Humans seemed to be very warm, and he liked that. Nai hummed in response, resting his head on Tora's neck, purring contently. "Then I won't grow..." Another yawn followed this. Truth be told, the boy actually hadn't grown over the past months. Most would be concerned, but you never know what testing from the days in which he couldn't remember could have done to the hormones or whatever that tell his body to grow.

"Mhm..." The boy yawned once more, rubbing some sleep out of his eyes. The cat side of him would much rather be asleep than awake. Most cats were actually nocturnal, after all. Nai watched with interest (and hunger) as Tora rummaged through the fridge. His blond tail swayed behind him, nearly touching the cold flooring since it was so long.

Nai thought for a moment on the question. Which was better? They were both fish, so they were both his favorite... Eh... This was hard! "Eh... Tuna!" Yes, let's go with choice A, shall we? It was just much more simple to choose...

The boy's nose twitched as the scent of fish wafted through the air. The scent alone was enough to get him purring once more. Ah, how he loved that scent! Cerulean eyes focused on the glass of milk set in front of him. "Arigato, Tora-san! Nai picked up the milk, lapping at the white liquid inside the glass before remembering that he had to drink it like a normal human. His face flushed in embarrassment and his ears flattened against his head at his mistake of allowing his feline side take over, and he quickly took a normal sip of the milk. The boy always hated it when he allowed the feline side to take over, but at least they weren't in public...

A pout crossed over the boy's face at the comment. What if he didn't want to get use to being 'human'! Hmph. It wasn't like he was raised by a pack of wolves or something... His eyes lit up as the fish was placed in front of him, and--hey! Where'd the fish go? Oh, right, Nai had a tendency to eat fish faster than someone could bat an eyelash. He was hungry, so get over it! The blond chimera turned to Tora, holding up the plate. "More, please~!"

"But you do!" Nai leaned back in his chair, placing his hand on his heart. He had seen the pose on some movie Tora had let him watch, and it made him giggle everytime he saw it. Heck, even when he was the one to pose like that.

"Of course!" His tail swished below him some more. "Cats never forget what they see." Nai said proudly, holding his head high.

A muffled yay could be heard as the boy started stuffing his mouth with another piece of tuna. This repeated until most of the tuna was gone and Nai was leaning back in his chair, letting out a satisfied sigh. Breakfast was the most important meal of the day, and the chimera held the meal time to it. Cerulean eyes glanced over the man expectantly. "What are we doing today?"

Nai pondered on this for a moment before shrugging. "Keep warm? It's winter, so outside activities will put me to sleep..." Cats like their sleep, and the cold won't help one bit.
