The Big Adventure to Distant Lands!

Cheryl muttered something unintelligible, her eyes closed as she leaned against the Colonel's door. Yet again she was being forced into the NEED MUSE Board because of an idiotic idea her RolePlayer had gained from a friend on a different site. "Are you almost ready yet?" she growled to Char, her metal hand tightening on the chain so that the steel made an irritating screeching sound. "We're supposed to leave for Xing in the next hour or we'll be late!" Seeing as she wasn't all that picky of what she wore, the Elric girl was already ready for the expected mission.

((XD I was thinking about making it like that one Naruto movie, but eh. XD))

Cheryl let out a yelp as the collar tightened, and, in an almost comical manner, she flailed for an instant. Then she glared at Mustang. "As you wish, Char-kun." she said in a sarcastic tone, managing to straighten herself before she fell.

Cheryl blushed as he grabbed her hand, and took off running beside him. Upon reaching the station and hearing his question, she stifled a pant and, in a rather breathless voice, said, "I'm fine." Placing one hand against her throat lightly to breathe easier, she straightened up from the half-crouch she'd been in. "You, Char-kun?" she asked, golden eyes some-what genuinely concerned as she looked over at him.

Cheryl eyed him incredulously. Was this really the Colonel? He wasn't a morning person... But she didn't get a chance to reply before he was off. She grumbled and handed in her ticket quickly, sliding into the seat next to Char. She figured that he'd just yank her over to him if she sat opposite him, so she thought she'd save herself some humiliation. "The report said that there's an uprising concerning the current emperor of Xing," she said, looking out the window.

Cheryl looked at him for a moment before she too, yawned. "Stupid Colonel," she mumbled, voice lightly affectionate as she leaned back, resting her head against the seat and closing her eyes. Within minute she was asleep, snoring lightly.

OOC: XD It's alright. Time skippy? *Has epic plan* She's gonna lean over on him just before they get there. >D

Cheryl's eyes opened into tiny gold slivers. She felt warmth next to her, and snuggled closer to it, sighing with content. Then her eyes flew open, wide with alarm. She was on a train, sitting next to Colonel Mustang! Hesitantly, she looked over to see the dark blue of Char's uniform. She let out a yelp and scooted away, blushing furiously.

"N-Nothing!" she said, still blushing as she glared out the window. "Yeah, we're here," she said, rather awkwardly. If Char knew about her cuddling up to him, he'd never let her live it down... The worst thing is I actually liked it... she thought, looking down and covering her eyes with one hand. "So, what now?" she asked irritably.

Cheryl nodded. "Okay then," she said as she stood up. What had woken her up was the train coming to a halt, so now there was hardly anyone leaving or getting on anymore. She tugged at the leash, prompting Char to get up and follow her, before walking down the aisle, getting off the train.

OOC: Hmm... You be prince or should I? *Gets ready for prince to enter stage left*

Cheryl looked back, seeing disapproval on the Colonel's face. She slowed her pace, falling into step beside him. She blinked curiously. "What's wrong? Our RolePlayers are nowhere in sight, for now and since it's the two of us this mission will be easy. We've pretty much got a paid vacation!" she said lightly, smiling.

OOC: ... *Assuming it's now and pushes Prince to stage left*

Cheryl shrugged. "Well, I dunno. I think it's kind of exciting to be in Xing, because I've never been before." The train station was, by now, out of sight. They were out in the open, almost no one else around. She remained silent for a while as they walked, eyes in thought. What were they going to do? Mm. She didn't have all the details of the mission and-Wait. What was that sound?

She lifted her head, blinking, as a low "kthatch" sound echoed on the earth. It sounded like someone walking through grass or something... And trying to mask their presence. She tensed. Who was it? The Homunculi?

She was completely unprepared for the lanky dark-haired man that came into their sight. His hair was tied into a high ponytail, raven-colored, while his eyes-presumably black-were squinted into tight lines. She paused, staring at him. It was obvious he was Xingese, with strange-looking clothing completing the look. She lowered her guard as he started to come towards them, golden eyes warming to be friendly.

The man came straight towards them, ignoring Char completely to stand in front of Cheryl. She looked up at him, curiosity glimmering in her eyes. Then, with a gentle hand, he cupped her face. Her eyes went huge, and then he kissed her. She was completely frozen, a huge blush stretching over her cheeks. Just like when Char had kissed her on accident... She remained still for a moment, stunned, before anger filled her eyes and she pushed the Xingese man away. "What the heck?!" she shouted, her hand balling into a fist.

He looked surprised, as if he'd been certain she'd react positively and they'd ride off into the sunset together. So, as Cheryl would have guessed, he was completely unarmed when her automail slammed into his cheek, sending him flying several feet back. "You idiot! What the heck?!" she repeated, furious and steaming.

Still shaking slightly, Cheryl felt the angry blush fade slightly as she glared at the man, who was frantically rolling on the ground. "What the heck is your problem?" she demanded, flexing her fist again.

The man raised one eyebrow, managing to put out most of the flames but ruining his fancy clothes. He rubbed his cheek, wincing. "Oi," he said, voice lightly accented and high-pitched. Only a moment later there were two people standing between the two alchemists and the man. "What is it with Amestrians?" the man wondered.

Cheryl scowled. "Well what do you think?! You just came up and kissed me you idiot!" she snapped. The people-able to be identified as guards by their defensive positions-glared at her. "How dare you harm the young prince?" one bellowed. She felt her eye twitch. That man was a prince?

"Then why did the young, idiotic prince kiss me?" she hissed, losing patience. The man held up one hand. "I saw you from afar and I was stunned by your incredible beauty! I do hope you'll accept my proposal of marriage!"

Her jaw dropped, and she stared at him, another huge blush forming on her face.

Eyes widening impossibly farther, Cheryl blushed even deeper and tried to tug away. Since when was she Char's? It was getting increasingly more awkward. "C-Char-kun," she started, blinking as her voice came out in a shy squeak.

The prince glared at Char. "She hasn't answered yet, so it's anybody's game!"

The prince returned the angry glare. "Kiiro! Kuroi!" he said, his tone sharp. The guards straightened, eyes serious as they stared intently at Cheryl and Char, as if analyzing them.

Cheryl blushed ever deeper, biting her lip. She paused, noticing the guard's glares. "I wasn't contemplating that!" she snapped quietly. She would never choose to marry some idiotic prince. She let out a yelp as, suddenly, one of the guards leaped forwards, slicing at Char's arms while the other grabbed at her wrist, yanking her towards them. "Char-kun!"
