I almost gave you the link to a more... -coughs- Interesting pose...
'Markings': On his back is the brand of the circus he is 'part' of.
Personality: Innocenzo doesn't really take to his name. His first name means Innocent, and his last name means Deaf. Pfft. He's neither of them. Well, unless you call him 'innocent' for still being a virgin. Eh, let's go away from that... He's quite cold and distant when you first meet him. He makes it seem as though he couldn't care less about what someone else does. However, he does truly care for those he considers friends and family. He would do anything for them, to an extent. Innocenzo is a coward when it comes to certain (-cough- many) things. Though, I don't care to list what scares him.
Even though his nature makes him seem like he would be more of an underdog, he is actually very dominant when it comes to the animals he trains. He can train anything, from a dog to a cat, to a wolf to a tiger. You name it, he can train it. Any trick, any command. For a fee, of course, but he will allow people to have a 'tab'. This sometimes leaves him in debt, but he doesn't try to stress over it.
History: Innocenzo was born in Lior, a place he would rather have not lived in. He's never been too fond of heat, and Lior didn't help. His family was dirt poor, living off what little income his parents could bring in from countless odd jobs. While he waited for his parents to return home, he would play in the alley right next to their house. Alleys aren't safe for little kids, but that didn't stop Innocenzo. One day, when he was eight, he found a stray dog, injured and alone.
At first, he kept to just tossing the dog some food and water. Soon, the canine allowed him to come up to him to check his wounds. With in a matter of weeks, the dog was up and following him around. The dog even followed him into his room, thus making it kind of hard to hide him. While his parents were home, the stray would hide under his bed. While they were gone, Innocenzo and the dog would be out and about. He even took to teaching the dog the basic commands--sit, stay, lay down, speak, and shake. It was a smart dog, so teaching him wasn't a problem.
Then his parents found out... They were against it, saying that they didn't have the money to support one. However, Innocenzo was persistant. He showed him what he taught the stray. He showed him what the dog could do without commands. He tried and tried to convince his parents. Finally, they caved in. The dog was his, and he named him Milk. Why? Well, the dog was white, and you can't expect an eight year old to come up with great names.
Years passed, and Innocenzo continued training 'Milk'. Soon, his tried his skills in training on other animals--the neighbor's cat, the rats in the alley (that was hard to do), and even a lizard that lived in his closet. How he trained the lizard and rats, not even I know. When he was twelve, tragedy struck. I say 'tragedy', but it doesn't really seem like one. Anyways... A traveling circus stopped by a Lior. His parents took him to see it, but they had a different plan then just watch the show and go home. After watching this amazing preformance, his parents took him to meet the ringmaster. Innocenzo was estatic to meet him, but his parents kept a straight face.
A few hushed words and a thick envelope were exchanged, and the ringmaster turned to Innocenzo, a bright (fake) smile plastered on his face. All he said was "Want to meet the tigers?" Being young and foolish, he agreed. The man took him out to another tent, without his parents. Innocenzo would have whined about it, but he was too much in awe by the large felines and all the other animals to care. The ringmaster allowed him to go into the huge cage housing the tigers. He was timid at first, but he soon relax.
There was no one else in the cage but the tigers and himself. One of the tigers--a huge white bengal who seemed to be the 'leader'--stepped forward, cautiously sniffing him. Within seconds, all the tigers were around him, purring and rubbing up against him. It was really a strange sight, and the ringmaster seemed really pleased. When he exitted the cage, he asked where his parents were. The ringermaster merely took him into another portion of the large tent. Then everything went black.
When he woke up, Innocenzo was in a large moving trailer with the tigers. He tried to get up, but a horrible pain in his back kept him from doing so. Instead, one of the bengal tigers helped him up. When the ringmaster came to him the next night, he explained what exactly happened, how Innocenzo was now part of the circus, aka he's owned by the ringmaster. It's amazing what parents will do for money.
As the seasons passed by, Innocenzo was forced to be the animal trainer for the Cirque du Amestris. He became rather famed, seeing how he started 'working' for them when he was only twelve. Blah. He's now sixteen, and you get the point.
Other: Really, all of his 'pets' are the animals of the cirque. 8D
