Toramaru is a mild-mannered character. He seems very... Eh.... Sophisticated, often making polite excuses and never rushing out during a conversation. He likes to take his time and can be very sadistic, often drawing out fights with enemies he doesn't like. General style of fighting includes making a long katana, and using smoke bombs. He has a particular liking for music.

His military-given name was the Blank Page Alchemist, because he is one-fourth Ishvalin. He joined the military to prove that the two nations weren't at war anymore.

History:
Born into a regular family. His father was half Ishvalin, and his mother was Xingnese. He didn't inherit his father's features, instead gaining unusual blond hair and gray-green eyes. He began learning alchemy under his father's urgings, and soon was referred to the military. He hasn't been enlisted long, only becoming a State Alchemist at eighteen. He stated that he joined to better help the two nations get along better.
