This civilization was destroyed many years ago by 'Father' with a small part by Hoenheim of Light and the then current king there who wanted immortality. Now it is just a ruins of what it was. Refugees or innocents accused of doing wrong often hide out here, in a place a band of Ishvalan survivors left them when they moved back to Ishval.

Many years ago, the beautiful sea-side city of Aquroya sunk into the sea. Gradually large parts of the old buildings and landmarks washed ashore in a group called the Aquroya Ruins.
